snow

Well snow has arrived here in London Ontario. We are now in our second snow storm in just a week.
The kids were off Monday Tuesday and Wednesday last week and now we have had them off on Tuesday but we will see what the week has in store of us.
the dog is crazy for snow. I  have spent hours trying to get video of the dog hopping in the snow only to have him stop every time I open the door and peer at me like I have lost my mind. At first he was a little upset about coming in the house because he was worried that he was in trouble because he has to stay on his mat to be cleaned off. He had forgotten about the routine. Now he comes in and drops right down so you can clean the snow off his paws.

sunday night

it is wrestling night at my house. and i get peace and quiet from the world even the dog. he like to be with the guys. he plops himself down right in front of the tv , i think he imagines that they are watching him

he was the best ever dog
he faithfully followed the girls around the neighbourhood.
never gave me one bit of hard time except that he wanted to play with every dog he meet.
some of our neighbour even had treats for him.......happy halloween

bath time

I am not really sure but I get the feeling I might be having more fun getting Ozzy to have a bath in the tub. I guess he sort of  got use to being bathed out side in his wading pool.
The truth is he smells much better and I was procrastinating bathing him indoors because it make a really fun mess. He never shakes in the bathroom no mater how long I wait with him . He holds back till I open the door and shake all over the house..............  the joys of pet ownership

Bark in the Park

It is a fundraiser for the London Humane Society. Victoria Raised $139.00 for the society. It was a lot of fun. We walked 5 km in greenway park, played doggy summer games and bingo ( for visiting all the venders). Ozzy rocked I am always amazed at him, he loves everyone and everydog.

Ozzy went watch soccer to night what a charmer.I had to circle the field 3 times in order to keep him happy . he is very happy to go anywhere with us. just as long as it does not involve sitting still.

chewing

Ozzy has been getting in trouble lately by chewing things up
like the stitch ripper and a spool of thread and the most trouble was the he turn our garden hose into a soak er hose. he is smart to know that if you leave on the ground it belongs to him. he has also been caught body slamming my coffee table so that he has something to chew. oh Ozzy what am I to do with you, just keep loving you

I can't believe it cost me more to have my dog groomed than to have my hair cut.... As much as I like Jenn I need to learn to do it myself or find someone cheaper

the Ducks

The great protector of our yard discovered the returning neighbourhood ducks in our pool this morning.
The result was comically. Racing around the pool and charging up and down the pool stairs to catch them.

Eventually the duck gave up and flew back to their nest. ( where ever that is this year). I am sure they will return for another swim, if not in our pool in someone elses.

spring has arrived

Spring has sprung , time has changed and our ever growing love bug is getting to be a big boy

Today Victoria  and I made a new bed for Ozzy and in her own Victoria made him a pillow

The trouble is that Bailey always comes out clean and poor Ozzy with his long shaggy hair always looks like he has been through the wringer.
the snow is melting and our yard is getting mucky and now instead of snow stuck to his fur, it is mud

Tarra and Lucas were here tonight and they gave Ozzy a work out in patience
Ozzy found in Tarra a new work out partner in tug of war and Lucas increased his patience in little ones. He was a doll as usual

my walking partner

every day when I get off work and I come home. I am eagerly greeted at my door by the hopping Ozzy. He spins in circles and hops around until I get his leash on. It is the best greeting in the world.

My Dog Ozzy

Ozzy Osborne Zwicker was born In August and now is 4 and a half month's old. He is a wheaten terrier blue healer cross. He is white and has black spots. My family and I adopted him from the Humane Society. Most of the employees said to me that I would love him and that he was their favourite dog there at the Humane Society. Ozzy is a shedding dog and needs a lot of grooming to keep his fur maintained. Ozzy loves to play with his toys! He has lots of them. He has 2 tug - a - war ropes. One with a tennis ball and one without. Both of them are different colours on is green and one is blue. He has a newspaper which he has almost eaten all up ,a popcorn squeaky toy,2balls one green and one orange and several bones and little treats and treasures to play with. Ozzy loves to attack my dad’s fire wood pile. He’s always on the lookout to find a good stick to play with. My dog jumps when he is exited and he hops actually jumps like a rabbit. He is so cute and Ive really enjoyed having him here at my house and even though he is a dog he is a good remodel to me.

Ozzy had his 1st hair cut

As usually Ozzy has won some more hearts this time it is the groomer Jenn. I knew he need one but he looks like a whole new dog.I can now see his beautiful eyes staring back at me.
